Make an Art Trading Card and Go Meet Some People

Making an art trading card is one of those things that every artist should do. No matter what. That's what I told myself as I sat down at Michael's arts and crafts table and stamped away. Just as interesting as the card was the company I found myself with; an art teacher from St. Thomas, as in the Virgin Islands, and Michael's very spunky representative Jo Pearson. Coincidentally, Jo met said teacher at a workshop she was giving on a cruise to the Virgin Islands. I found myself torn between whose job I'd want more. Either way, it was creative company that inspired my whimsical trading card.

Pick a stamp, or do what I did and close your eyes and pick one stamp from the pile.

I love Derwent inktense water soluble ink pencils. Just draw and add water for potent color.
